The reason I jump film

“The Reason I jump” is a book written by a Japanese man Naoki Higashida when he was 13.

Naoki does not speak and whilst he does not represent everyone’s experience ( because everyone is different ) The book has captured the imagination of many people, and was Book of the week on BBC Radio 4. The film based on the book is about the experiences of non speaking Autistic people.Autistic adults were consulted in the making of the film
